Fill out an application form.
To start the loan process, complete and submit a loan application and financial documents necessary for loan approval by Ocean Capital. Download it from our site and either fax it to our headquarters or hand it to your Ocean Capital loan officer. We can pre-approve you within 48 hours of receiving the form.
Coordinate an appraisal and environmental report.
An appraisal (and environmental report, if applicable) will be conducted on the property. This takes approximately 3-4 weeks. Once the bank receives the appraisal, we issue a final approval, and the loan can close within 2 weeks.
Close the deal so you receive your funds.
We generally close loans within 6 weeks of the initial loan application—far more quickly than most banks and traditional commercial lenders.
